 To Him Who is Able

Romans 16:20

20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Romans 16:25-27

25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, 26 but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith; 27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.

The epistle to the Romans ends with a great doxology. After all of the teaching and exhortation in the book, what is left is encouragement that the God of Peace will give you grace and that He is able to establish and keep you. He is the only wise God who reveals mysteries, so give Him glory forever.

This is a good example of a blessing. Any teaching, especially one that involves correction or admonition, should end with such a blessing. Our God is an encouraging God. It is He who is able to establish and sustain us. It is good to close with such an  encouraging word. So, God bless you today, and may He provide for all your needs and give you His Peace.
